Review: Glamour Doll Eyes

Hello Beauties,

I was recently asked to do a review of Glamour Doll Eyes (GDE) eye shadow pigments. I chose six colors from their entire collection: Martini Olive, Jailhouse Jumpsuit, Undead, Chocoholic, Bare Naked, and Lover's Lane. They had so many colors I wanted to try, ranging from vibrant to neutrals, so it was hard to only pick 6!  I was impressed with the quality, blendability, and texture of the pigments. I love how GDE has both matte and shimmery pigments. I'm so used to seeing shimmery pigments, so it is nice to see a line that carried some matte finishes.

Swatches:
They are taken in natural lighting. I wanted to showcase the colors, so I had to swipe the colors more than once.

Click Below to see the individual descriptions of the pigments!

Martini Olive: A matte, dark green. I have always wanted a dark green eyeshadow. I am so happy I finally found one! This is perfect for creating dark green smokey looks.
Bare Naked:
This is a neutral beige with a sheen. Perfect for creating a neutral look and highlighting the inner tear duct and brow bone.
Jailhouse Jumpsuit:
This color was love at first site!! It is described as a bright orange. It is more like an intense gold to me! I love it!
Chocoholic:
A gorgeous coppery-brown. You can intensify the color so it applies dark on the outer corners or lightly apply it for the crease.
Lovers Lane:
Deep, copper red. I love coppers and this one is so beautiful!
Undead:
The website describes this as, "black with red undertones" but I see it as a plum. This was the only color that was a disappointment. The swatch on the website showed up as a dark, dark brown, which was what I was looking for.
